Following the urging of our late Saint, Pope John Paul II, to unite “One America for Christ”, Catholic Media International (CMI), a USA licensed 501c3 non-profit corporation, was formed for the purpose of spreading the Good News of the Gospel through assisting ministries in the use of published media and various electronic technologies necessary to create and record the actual programs specific to their individual charism.
Our goal is to assist others to use their expertise to build a spiritually powerful network guided by the direction of the Holy Spirit and faithful to the magisterium of the holy Catholic Church. We assist churches and ministries by recording video and audio presentations; we assist with the editing and publishing of these onto Compact Disc (CD) and Digital Video Disc (DVD) formats; and we serve as a clearing house to acquire and distribute various types of religious articles and printed materials. Our members perform this task as a ministry to the World and without monetary compensation.
Pope John Paul II declared Our Lady of Guadalupe the patroness of the Americas and she is our Patroness.
He also proclaimed "the moment has come to commit all of the Church's energies to a new evangelization. No believer in Christ, no institution of the Church can avoid this supreme duty: to proclaim Christ to all peoples." "Evangelization will always contain as the foundation, centre and,..summit of its dynamism-- a clear proclamation that, in Jesus Christ salvation is offered to all men, as a gift of God's grace and mercy." "The new evangelization," according to John Paul II, "is not a matter of merely passing on doctrine but rather of a personal and profound meeting with the Savior."
